INSTRUCTION

In this project, we will design a landing page to advertise either an existing service, an existing brand, or a specific current product; alternatively, we may establish our own brand, service, or product. I've decided to build my own brand, GetCoffeed.co, which will serve as the primary brand for my landing page.

References

I used to work in a coffee shop. throughout 1 whole year of experiences of being a barista, one of my dream is to have my own coffee shop. My prefered design is Simple and Clean. There are a few web references or art references I have pinned on for my web design.

1. Wireframe Illustrations

I've done simple displaying wireframe sketches and straight I began with the design. Mr. Tarmizi, on the other hand, stated it was OK because it demonstrated the concept of my suggested landing page. In my design, I've emphasized a clean look web page with forest green themes. I like something that could connect to nature and makes it feel like a breath of fresh air.

Reflection

Experience

Creating my own mockup on photoshop was something that I enjoy doing. Understanding the fundamental of a website was fun, tho I am truly scared of doing the coding part, I have poured my heart to create a design for my web. I'm grateful to Mr. Tarmizi for always responding to my questions and providing helpful suggestions for me to develop, alter, and work on.

Observation

Throughout my process of creating a webpage, I've learned about the website structure that helps me to get a clear vision of my design. I have also observed Mr. Tarmizi's tutorial that help me what I can do for my upcoming progress so I designed based on something I perhaps can do (coding).

Findings

I discovered that there were several factors to consider while building a landing page for a product, such as what design would be used, how the page will cater to a specific demographic/background if it is user-pleasant, and so on. One thing to keep in mind is that you should always have preliminary sketches.
